Visitors!

Yesterday, the Duren-Lubanski family arrived in town to visit Christopher (and us of course). We are so happy to see them and Chris has felt right at home with them. In fact, he slept for a while in Sheryl's arms and enjoyed looking at Julia's cat while she showed it to him in his bouncy seat this morning. Also, I think we are going to hire Ally to be Christopher's full time nanny because he was so calm in her arms last night during his usual fussy time. Plus, on our way to lunch today (at Granite City again) Ally was sitting in the back with him and when he started to fuss and cry, she got him settled down with a gentle voice and his binky. Way to go Ally! It is great to talk with the ladies and get their experienced parenting advice... They have been getting the full Missouri and Kansas experience too. For example, last night they went to the Royals game, walked up (or excuse me, they were driven up) to get $7 tickets on the spot. I don't think anything in New York costs $7 anymore! There were also about 50 people in the stadium--a near sell-out. Gotta love the Royals. Anyway, it is so fun for all of us to have them here and we'll keep you updated on any other adventures.

It's so nice to hold an infant again! The awesome baby smell, the infant squeaks, the tiny hands and feet...I'm in heaven. Christopher is even more precious live and in color!
