Today's outing with Grandma and Grandpa

To celebrate Christopher's one month birthday, we got out of the house... for more than an hour! It was very exciting. Daddy was back at work today and so Grandma and Grandpa took us to lunch at Granite City Brewery. (No we didn't have any brews.) But wait there's more! Not only did we have a nice lunch there, but we also went to Michael's to get picture frames for Daddy to bring to work to show off his little boy. Very exciting stuff. The only one who wasn't so thrilled about this outing was Kasey who wasn't allowed into the restaurant. I heard she is going to stage a sit-in with her doggie friends to protest such practices. Since she had to stay home, she decided to try and take the garbage out but was unsuccessful. She only managed to get a few things out! This morning, Christopher watched the women's triathlon with Mommy and then later he was able to sleep on Grandpa's shoulder for a while. It was a very busy day for our one month birthday. He's at the age where he doesn't ask for much (only food, shelter, and unconditional love) but he did mention to Daddy that he heard his Grandma makes these amazing chocolate cakes for people's birthdays and he is now asking one for each month up to his first year.
