Big Step

Yesterday, we introduced Christopher to his bottle to prepare him for the possibility that Mama might need to leave the house at some point for more than an hour. The lactation consultant told us to introduce it in the afternoon when my milk supply is lower and just see if he'll take it for a minute to get a feel for the bottle. It took a minute or so for Chris to take it, but once he did, he went to town. At first he probably thought we were trying to pull a fast one on him when he saw Daddy but tasted milk. But as he fed, he just kept going and going so we went with it. He ate about an ounce and a half, and also had some milk with me too. Is it any wonder why he gains like 2 ounces a day? Saturday night we had Matt and Jaime over to watch the Olympics. (Yes, this is what Saturdays now look like in the Woglom house...At least we had friends over this time!) They are expecting a little girl any day now so Chris wanted to give them a taste of what "fussy time" looks like. Jaime and I tried to have a conversation while I was calming him down... Tried is the key word. Eventually, he settled down and we were able to rejoin everyone downstairs. The pictures below were after his nap...

And here are some more recent pictures...
