Montmartre

We have returned from our journey up to Montmartre! We are mastering the metro and took it up to the 18th arrondissement to the hill looking over the city. At the top of the hill is Sacre Coeur, a beautiful cathedral that we went in to visit. Here is the cathedral and our views from it...

This section of the city attracts lots of tourists (ourselves included!) and has very cute shops (as well as tourist trap souvenir shops) located on its narrow and hilly streets...

Before we made the climb up to the top where the cathedral is, we found a carousel for Jonathan to ride. He chose the bench...

We decided to take the tram down the hill since we climbed up all those steps. This was definitely a highlight for the boys!
