Gone Feisin'

Well, the four hour drive to St. Louis is becoming something of a routine for us this year! Chris and I headed out east for another double feis weekend. It was such a fun weekend for us! Chris did awesome and had a great time with his dancing friends. First the dance results. On both days, Chris placed first in his reel. This brings him one step closer to the Preliminary Champs (PC) level.  He also got 5th and 7th in hornpipes and 9th and something else (can't remember!) in treble jig.

Unfortunately, I found out that at Christopher's level, we are technically not supposed to take video of them dancing in competition. But don't worry! He has a couple performances coming up this weekend at Irish Fest that I will try to include in a future entry. The weekend was not all about dance, however. We spent most of our Saturday with some of our dance family friends having lunch, dinner, checking out the St. Louis Arch and swimming! I can't even tell you how much fun Chris had. Here are some pics...

Good thing Chris likes the ladies! It was a fantastic weekend and St. Louis is becoming like a second home to us. Stay tuned because next week is Irish dance-o-mania. We host our own double feis and Irish fest is happening at the same time. Hornpipes forever!
