Fire station!

Our neighborhood playgroup visited the new fire station down the road from us today and Chris had a blast! (By the way, notice the amount of boys in this playgroup. I pity the kindergarten teachers when their classes are made up of 90% boys!). First of all, this is a fancy new station complete with sleeping quarters, a kitchen, and a state of the art gym. (So proud that CJ knows what a gym is for! When he saw it, he said, "Workout.") Anyway, here is Chris with our neighbor, Braydon, sitting in the "media" room on one of the big comfy chairs:
He also got to sit on the truck by himself and kept saying "Lights on!" to the Fireman Bryan. In the other picture, he is checking out Fireman Tim's oxygen tank.

And the mom who hosted the playgroup today brought snacks for the kids after our tour was over. Yes, I let Chris have a chocolate chip cookie and, as you can see, all the chocolate melted on his hands and mouth. As Christopher would say, "aiyaiyai!"
