Yesterday afternoon, we had some time to kill before Mommy and Daddy went out to dinner and a soccer game so we hung out in the backyard. As you can see, my boys really know how to relax...
It was a tad bit hot outside though, so we went in to cool off. It wasn't long before Kasey and Christopher got a little crazy! Chris likes to go on the bed downstairs and have us throw the covers over him so he can hide from Kasey. Then Kasey jumps on the bed and buries her head in the blanket while barking. Needless to say, CJ enjoys this thoroughly!
After all that playing, though, everyone needs a good rest. Here is Daddy chilling with the monkey.
As I said, we got to go out to dinner and a soccer game last night while Kay and Chris played. The game was fun, but as it was soccer (and the Kansas City Wizards), it wasn't very exciting... except for the
four streakers at halftime! Jaime (Olivia's mom) and I went to get some refreshments at halftime. We were on line talking when all of the sudden the whole place goes crazy and everyone runs from the line to look out onto the field. All we saw were two of the four streakers and then the tackling of them (never a pretty sight) but we did get to move up in the snack bar line! Anyway, it was hilarious and when I told Chris about it (in not so much detail) he told me that it sounded like a lot of fun to him. After all, it combines two of his favorite things: running and no clothes!
