We had a lovely morning in downtown KC, which is growing by the second! We took the streetcar from Union Station down to the River Market and then to the downtown library and there are so many apartments, restaurants, and businesses being built along the way. Very exciting! Anyway, the boys had a great morning riding the streetcar...
At the library, Chris attempted to teach J how to play chess--that lasted about 3 minutes!
We met Daddy for lunch at his office and then came home to enjoy the fruits of their labors. In the River Market, we stopped at the Italian market and the boys picked out some hard-to-find-in-KC quality Italian desserts. Chris left the cookie and took the canoli, and Jonathan went for the chocolate sandwich cookie!
