Garden Update

We are learning some valuable lessons in our gardening experience this spring; namely, don't jump the gun on planting already-started plants! We had a few unexpectedly cold nights after we planted our veggies a few weeks ago and then lost many of them. Some survived however and the encouraging thing is that some of the seeds we planted have begun to come up! At the bottom is a picture of the sunflowers that are starting to emerge!

We will wait one more week to plant more veggies, although I put in cucumber, dahlia and zinnia seeds this morning. Still to come-- tomorrow afternoon we will begin our butterfly garden project in the back corner of our yard. Photos to come!
