BBQ Time!

We had a wonderful 4th of July barbecue today with a bunch of our Kansas friends! We lucked out--the rain held off, it was cool and the food was abundant!

It was so great to spend the day with everyone! My friend Chrissie was supposed to come down from Chicago but due to unforeseen events, they were unable to make it. A few days after Chrissie told me she couldn't come, I got a message from one of my friends from college, Heidi who I haven't seen in ten years, that she would be in town with her family for a reunion. So we got to catch up and it was wonderful to see her!
