Love speech

So last night at dinner, Christopher declared that he was going to find out what love is by the time he is in 6th grade. Then he decided he was going to deliver a speech about love that would maybe change the country and he could be president. Here it is. He's hoping to reach at least a million views...

The Boys

We've been having a nice relaxing Saturday and the boys have been having some fun together. Earlier this morning, Christopher decided that he was going to conduct me while I played my flute. He takes his conducting very seriously, so I had to make sure I was paying attention...

Jonathan is now big enough to fit into some pajamas that came from his cousins. It's not Christmas yet, but you have to go with what fits! Thank you Poppy, Elsie, and Bennett! After the nice sibling picture, Chris tried to chase J down with bunny ears...

After lunch, Christopher went to the arboretum with Grammy so J got a little alone time with us. Here is J with Daddy (and Kasey too!). Man, Kasey has it rough, doesn't she?

Friends

Christopher had his friend Giles over for a play date this afternoon and the boys had a great time! There was a little one on one basketball, volleyball, and some spying on Mommy and J. It was a fun afternoon for these two kiddos!

Getting into Stuff

This boy cracks me up! I was preparing a casserole after our lunch that we are having for dinner tonight and Jonathan was exploring the drawers and cabinets. Well, there is a cabinet in the island that we use for our recycling. He proceeded to take out the recycling, empty each little piece on the floor and then he climbed inside and made himself comfortable. I guess we know where to find him when we eventually play hide and seek! 

The Wagon

Remember this thing? The little red walking wagon. Well, this one is a new version of the old, as we did not really save much from Christopher. It arrived yesterday and Jonathan has been figuring out what to do with it. I'm not sure who was more excited for him to use it--Christopher was pretty fired up and assumed that Jonathan would instantly know what to do with it. Our big kid demonstrated how to push while walking and J slowly got the hang of it. We'll see where he goes with this thing!

Sunday afternoon

After church this morning, we took the boys over to Brookside to have lunch and to check out a new store that just opened. Christopher was in a goofy mood and was making silly faces to make Jonathan (and us) laugh. They also had one of the Pianos on Parade pianos in the middle of Brookside so Chris stopped to play everyone a few tunes...

Tennis anyone?

Christopher had his first tennis lesson today! He seemed to really enjoy it and when he got home, he wanted to watch the U.S. Open right away.
