Thanksgiving bunnies

If I just sit upon 2 pillows, the bunnies on the other side of the window seem that much closer...

Sigh...

I just don't understand why they don't let me out of here to rid the yard of these bunnies...

I guess it doesn't matter anyway. I'll just curl up with Kasey and let the turkey that Grammy brought over digest...

A new tradition?

When we mentioned to Tiffany the other day that one of our Thanksgiving traditions is to stay in our pajamas and watch the Macy's parade, she suggested that we should add hot cocoa to our repertoire. Christopher was so excited about that idea that we had to do it. Note the excitement on his face...

First Friend and Sleepiness

Jonathan's friend Noah came over to visit this morning. Noah is 7 weeks older than Jonathan and now that J is getting more aware and alert, they were both sizing each other up!

And then here is Jonathan sleeping, first curled up last night in my arms (with a very cozy blanket) and then this afternoon trying his first nap in the crib…

So I was just looking at this picture and then looking at the picture of Chris as a baby that is posted to the left of this page (see "Christopher Joseph") and once again, the resemblance is striking...

Our Big Kid

Our big kid has been busy too! He is still loving his Citi Blocks and was building a dock today for his "super mega cruise ship." He is also really enjoying his little brother and, of course, his dogs…

Mr Alert

Little man (or should I say Big man--more on that in a minute) is getting more and more alert every day! He's also getting his own look. There are moments when he is still the spitting image of Christopher. It's usually when he is asleep in the carseat. But in the picture above, you can see that he is definitely his own person! He has been smiling too, although never when I have my camera handy. He loves smiling at his big brother and this morning, he smiled at the monkey on his bouncy seat (kind of like Chris smiling at the dog on his bouncy seat). 

Yesterday was Jonathan's 1 month check up and everything looks great! He was 10 lbs 13 oz (75%), 21 3/4 inches (50%) and his head circumference is 15 1/8 inches so he is a growing boy!

I am so lucky to be able to stay home with this sweet little baby! (And his big brother too!)
